This message board is governed by a set of rules. Please familiarize yourself with them. By posting on our message board, you indicate that you accept our rules as part of the BuckinghamNicks.net terms of service.
In extreme situations, we reserve the right to remove any post or user from our message board due to severe violation of one or more of the following rules. We have a three strike system. Violators receive a strike for each offense, and will be notified through PMs or e-mail. However, if PMs are not enabled, a message will be posted requesting the poster to contact the administrator or moderators. It is the responsibility of the poster to respond; regardless, he/she will receive the strike. Issuing of strikes is solely at the discretion of the moderators. After three strikes, the user is banned.
The administrator and moderators of the BuckinghamNicks.net board do not necessarily endorse all the opinions posted there. (Indeed, it would be impossible to do so, since they are so many differing ones.)
Board Rules:
1) First and foremost, the authority of the moderators must be respected. This includes acceding to their requests regarding posts. We reserve the right to lock threads that are getting out of control.
2) Personal attacks, harassment, and name-calling of other posters are not permitted. We define personal attacks as exceedingly malicious or continual insults. (Note: if someone disagrees with you or does not find your opinion to be valid, that does not mean he/she is personally attacking you.) If you disagree with something that has been posted, debate the content of the post; do not berate or belittle the poster. Any personal issues one may have with another poster should be taken to PMs.
3) Hateful, vulgar, or pornographic content is not allowed, nor is linking to pornographic or offensive sites. We reserve the right to remove such posts and links. Offensive user names are also not permitted.
4) A user may not post the contents of private e-mails / private messages that he/she has received from someone else, or the private information of another person. This includes not only the phone numbers and addresses of other posters, but also those of band members, their family members, or their associates.
5) Do not copy and paste posts from other forums into a post on this forum without the original posters permission; if you want to refer to something off-board, link to it.
6) Fraudulent representations of oneself as a member of the band, a relative/spouse of a band member, or an associate of Fleetwood Mac will not be tolerated.
7) Post any off-topic threads into General Discussion.
Chat Rules
1) Like on the board, no personal attacks are allowed in chat.
2) If you dont want to listen to someone, put them on ignore.*
* To ignore a user in chat, use one of these three methods:
- Right click their name in the left pane and choose 'ignore '
- Single left click their name in the main (left) pane, that brings up a private chat, and you can use the ignore button there.
- Double click their name in the right pane; that brings up a private chat window, and you can ignore them there.
