I recently met a new Stevie fan who is interested in Stevie's demos. He's not real big on the Internet, so he hasn't heard any of them yet. I promised to burn him a CD of the best demos. I was wondering (just to get other opinions), what are your favorite demos?

My favorite is City of Hope. It's not traditionally pretty - in fact, it's not even complete - but it moves me. I also adore Sanctuary, She Loves Him Still, Old-Fashioned, Tragedy of One's Own Soul, China Doll, Prettiest Girl in the World, Starshine, Secret Love, and Watchdevil.... among others! lol

how is the sara version funny ? i cry when i hear it . and when i dont it atleast gives me goosebumps ... god that beautiful string opening and those heartbroken desperate words ...." i wanna be a STAR ....
